yea i purchased and intake for my stock 98 2.5 rs and i cant get it to hook up right with the afm bacause id have to bolt it on and theres know where to bolt it onto ..
plus a friend said with the amount of air flow ill get anyways my cars gonna run lean and im not sure thats a good idea after 100000 miles on my car. Any one have and sugestions or point out my problem of why i cant get my short ram intake to fit on

you'll hafta buy an adaptor for the maf, most auto zones sell them, its basicly another small pipe with a flange on it to fit the cone filter. if you dont plan on putting your stock airbox back on, you could cut the end of your maf off, JUST THE FLANGE! and leave enough for the cone to slip on it, i used to have mine set up like this, then i got a new maf, and a new adaptor, your car will not run lean, your computer will compensate for however much more air it gets, you'll be fine
what i did was i took inches of 3" intake tube, drilled 3 holes in it, filled thoes holes with brass nipples, attatched that **** to it and the filter is sitting under my hood scoop. almost like it was made for that! get the picture? all it costs is an old intake tube and a 3" cone filter
