Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Increasing performance on a 2012 2.0i?

Hope all is well, I saw your post for modding your 2012 impreza, I bought a 14 last year and created a solid solution. I am reaching out to people that are interested. Using a Unichip Signal processor (a simple but fancy piggy back) I was able to make 7-8% increase in hp and torque. Not alot but just enough to notice and help give a little extra passing power lol. My name is Jeremiah. I have clocked just under 15k miles on it since I sorted out the tuning. I have dyno graphs and what not to support the modification.

I have a 15 Subaru impreza premium...I got an air intake set up for my car but the car refused to turn over because the mass air flow sensor was probably preventing it from starting the car. U could hear it want to turn over but it would quickly shut off. How do I solve this problem without buying some super expensive programmer or paying some shop to do it for me? Or is there a cheap and simple programmer that the average Joe could use to modify the air intake. And would a similar problem occur if I changed the exhaust? If anyone knws how to solve this problem would be awesome cuz I'd hate to have wasted buying all those parts for nothing.

Such a product does not exist and this is not your problem. Something else is wrong.
