How strong is the EJ20?
How strong is the EJ20 engine in the wrx? At what point, power wise will the engine start to give way? How much boost can you push through the stong block?

I'd suggest thatyou stick to your mustang if you dont know the difference between normally aspirated and forced induction..

I think the strengths of the U.S. EJ20 are a result of the modern bearing cap revisions of the bottom end and the thicker cylinder walls in relation to the EJ25 (obviously)...however I truly believe that those individuals out there trying to live with 300 horsepower on the stock U.S. EJ20 internals have a hard lesson coming...
