high compression.
What do I need to do to raise my compression. 99 2.5 gc8 sohc. planning on cobb cams and need new rod 'cause of slapping on one cylinder. know of any cheap oem pistons and rods or high compression pistons? would probably shave block and thinner gasket. have 9.7:1 would like around 12:1.
give me some sites or manufacturers.

if u scroll down to the bottom u will find some piston sets but they aren't cheap at all. they also have just about anything you could want for ur car.

your CR is 10:1 btw. a thinner headgasket will raise the CR. you can get some 11.2:1s from http://rallitek.com/products.asp?ID=...Y&HB=&ACC=&SP= there.
