Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Please elaborate more on this one, because I had an issue for a while with filling my gas tank and the auto fill mech. would shut the pump down every .250 of a tank. Which equals an annoying experience at the pump. If thats the problem could be the vent valve.

Well in my case I had to get the vent-valve and valve coupling replaced as well as the charcoal filter in the tank replaced. If I remember correctly the parts were really expensive like 500 or so for everything. It may still be under warranty for you so I would see if it can be done for free first. (Santa Cruz Subaru or Carlsen Subaru would be a good start.) Hope that helps you man good luck.

Oh and the reason for the whole thing was because the charcoal filter broke apart in the tank and a piece clogged the valve completley.

Damn, sorry to hear that man. You can always try dropping the tank yourself and seeing if you can clear the vent valve yourself. But, if its the charcoal canister you'll still have to order one from Subaru. That may be a little cheaper.

read the owners manual. I think there is a lifetime warranty on the CA emmisions parts and the fuel system falls under that. Not 100%, but in my 06 warranty and maintanance book is shows all the different warranties and parts. I will look at it during lunch and repost what I find.
