Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

Exhaust for TS.

With a turbo, bigger is bettre, but with a N/A street setup you would not want bigger than 2-1/4. Any muffler for any RS should fit, except that there is one hangar that was reversed- you can get any muffler shop to cut it and weld it on backwards for like $15. AFAIK there are no differences powertrain-wise between the RS and TS, but I know there are plenty of people here who will know of any.

Anything for a 2002+ RS will work on the TS exhaust wise.

Oh yeah, I forgot to say that. The reversed hangar thing only applies to exhaust when crossing from GD/GB series to GM/GC series.

Bigger is not always better. There is a point where if it is too big, it will not help. And that is the point of deminishing returns.

True, but with a turbo, going too big just stops adding power, unlike an N/A motor, which will start to suffer as the pipes get bigger. So there really isn't "too big" with a turbo, just "bigger than necessary to make that much power" for the most part. Not nearly as detrimental to a Subaru as 3" pipes on an EJ25 with no turbo.
