Im new here and to the world of subaru, just bought a 05 2.5 rs and was wondering if anyone has a link to be able to hear what different exhaust sound like before i buy one. I am looking for one with a nice rumble but not to loud. Any help would be great thanks.

 

the only place i know of that shows some exhaust sounds is HKS website. i think its HKSusa.com Im sure theres more places i just dont know about them. Hope that helps

 

There's a thread out there somewhere with links to a couple dozen sound clips. I'll try to find it.

 

i have the stromung dual tip on my 01 RS and its pretty nice. It has a nice rumble and not too loud either. Obviously it wouldnt be as loud as a WRX/STi since it doesnt have that much back pressure.

Since no one is sure about the warranty issues i am having.. i will go about things a different way.

When the o2 sensors fail, is it both of them, or just the first one.

Also what are some good signs that the O2 sensors are bad, and if the cats are plugged.




If i decide to just fix this problem on my own, what should i replace the cats with? I dont want to go with the stock...

I have an AEM intake and i am running Iridium Plugs.

Any information would be appriciated.
