Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

My dad always tells me about how he did that when he was a kid. I don;t know specific details, but i'm not so sure it would work because modern cars don't let as much unburned gas through. Now that i think about it, i saw something about that on tv ( on "Trucks" i think), and if i remember correctly, they sprayed some fuel in the pipe somehow. Anways the moral of this story is that it would be a lot of work. But you could probably look up that tv show that i saw it on. I am pretty sure it was on TNN's Trucks. Good luck.

Yeah... modern FI cars would require an injector inthe tailpipe, not a plug! But, if you fabbed up something, with like a Justy injector (what is it, like 90cc/min? ) it might work!

It cuts spark first and fuel second. You get a split second of fuel without spark... then the spark catches up with the air/fuel in the tailpipe.

i saw an ad in Sport Compact Car (the most recent one, with the 2f2f cars in it) for a kit to do that with 20ft flames for $125. didnt say how it worked or anything, but you might want to check that out and find out how they did it.

on a newer car, fuel injected not carbereated, can you turn up how much fuel goes into the engine? i do not think you can but, is there a qay to run it rich, like a carberated engine.
one other thing i thought of, say you get this flame movin, once it ignites, what will stop it, won't it keep burnin on the end of the pipe?
