Engine/Power - non turbo (All non turbo Imprezas) Who needs a turbo when you have 2500cc? Cams, intakes, exhausts, etc. The 2.2L and 1.8L Subies are cool too.

there are alot of threads on this, so if you need more detail hit the search button, but basicly there is a wireing harness you can unplugg behind the glove box area, look up from underneath, the first 2 you see are not the right ones, look further and its closer to the door and further up, just un plug it and your done.

Everyone wants to unhook those... See, I want to *install* them in my '00.

I think DRLs are a fantastic idea.

Main reason i did it, is i'm prone to playing with the E brake and i didn't want to be flashing my lights at everyone when i did

I agree 100%!
As far as I'm concerned unhooking DRL's is akin to removing your airbag. DRLs make your car more visible to other drivers and reduce accidents, it's a proven fact. And the bit about making your bulbs burn fast out is a myth, my wife drove for 82000 miles on the original bulbs, and I did about 40000 miles on mine.
Theres my $.02

You can have mine ;-)

Stupid *ss idea! I don't live in Sweden... and I don't like playing the game "remember to turn your taillights on"! I know I can leave the headlights (with taillights) on all the time (but now I can't read my radio or clock because the car thinks it's night and turns them down for me).

Finally, the last thing I need is MORE attention to myself ~ I chat with five-o enough as it is ;-)

I say 'unplug' and motor away!

DRLs don't draw more attention to your car, dude. They make you more visible, as grifter said. Even in broad daylight.

I'd be happy to take yours. No idea if they universally fit all Imprezas, but if so, whatever modules/connectors/whatever, send 'em to me.
