I prefer regular Lay's potato chips. Greasy salty crispy goodness.
Oh, you mean some engine management? They aren't really worth the money. The only one that's moderately effective (the ProECM chip) causes overheating issues. Just go with bolt-ons and cams if you're really into it. Trust me.

wow ban your quite chipper today lol.
I was actually thinking about buying the torque chip but if it causes overheating issues i dont want to deal with that.
I would love to do some cams but with a 2.2 i have yet to find someone who makes them.
As for prices imprezars.com has 2 for 250 dollars. As in each.

I have the Torque Chip II in my 2.2L, I noticed a little bit of improvement at higher RPM's and so far I haven’t had any problems with overheating or anything. If you order it do it directly from torquechip.com cause imprezars.com charges $13 for shipping and torquechip.com it's free shipping....
and i prefer Tims Cascade Style Jalapeno chips

I've ran it on one of my Subaru XT6s and didn't notice a difference when I installed it. Had it on for 2 years and then decided to take it off. Before taking it off, I dyno'd my XT6 then removed it and dyno'd it again. Not the same day but still. Here's the result....

I lost around 5hp and 8lbs-ft of torque. How about that!?! And I have a lot of dyno runs with my XT6 at this dyno shop and they are pretty consistent from run to run on different days. Be your own judge though. I did this for my own personal testing because I couldn't find info of anyone testing this out...just arguments. It works! At least it did for me.
Oh BTW: Someone may say, hey...your car lost hp/torque because it was running richer. Well, I never changed the air/fuel ratio manually. This took place after removing the chip. Personally, I think if I had manually tuned the XT6 to run richer, I would've GAINED hp/torque because it's obvious I was running into to much timing advance. You can see how my hp/torque falls off in the upper rpms. Probably due to running too lean and causing detonation/pinging.
