im looking for cat-backs for 2002 impreza rs. there are exhuast for the impreza below that year but im not sure if that has the same bolt positionings. please help. thanx inadvance

 

Here is mine: Tanabe Hyper Medalion (for GC8) catback exhaust on my '02 GD25
The 3rd muffler pipe's exhaust hanger is useless, and need to remove the heat shield for the mid-pipe. I used 3 Cusco exhaust hanger bushings, and did their job very well to hold the catback as better than OEM hangers.
On the other hand, it comes with 50 state legal proved; sound is not too loud even with Borla header, but extremely boxer engine sounding.

I had a custom set-up fabbed for me at an exhaust shop and it just sounds ****. I did 2 1/4" piping from the cat back, ending with a Magnaflow muffler, single outlet, something like 3 1/2" diameter. Ended up costing me like $190 and sounds great.
