Hello. I'm just wonder if i could turbo a Subaru Impreza 97 GX 2.0L.

If I can, could someone suguest a good site which I could get some good turbo's and intercoolers off please..

wtf is a GX...must be somthing not USDM

 

USDM?

GX is pretty much the same as the Impreza RX. Only difference is the RX has spoilder, mags + side guards..

 

what is an RX? USDM United States Domestic Market

 

The GX is simlar to the USDM RS, but the GX has the 2.0 N/A motor (( I think it makes about 120HP @ 5600rpm )) prtty small engine with small power but it is vrey economic.
The GX modle is avilable only in some countries like the middle east countries and Uk.

Close . I'm not sure what what HP is in KW. But it has only about 90kw. Redline is at 6200rpm.

I'm prtty sure that you can use any turbo kit that is made for the RS. you know both engines are the same, only the displacement is less in the GX.

 

You can turbo anything with nipples...

 

Yeah thats true. Do you think I'll have to get a Custom Turbo + Intercooler? I gave Advan a ring and they said its $4500 for a turbo and $1200 for a intercooler, dont you think thats a bit rich?

 

you can find used one for $1200 to $1500
cuz $4500 is way too much (( with $4500 you can buy a JDM EJ20 with is more powerful that putting turbo kit on a 2.0 N/A ))
