bought an injen
i just got my injen cold air intake and i noticed that it came with a filter... by looking at some pics on sites of 2.5 imprezas i saw that a lot of the injen cai just went from the tubin right into the side of the car with no filter...i know i got the cold air(race division) so how come i have a filter and some dont

All have filters. It goes on the end inside the fender, so you can't see it without pulling the inner fender. Have fun cleaning it.
