So I was looking into boring out the motor to 2.6 to 2.7 liters of displacement, figure this will something to do when I get a second motor other than the one in my car, so is this a good idea, how much can I bore out? Thanks for any information that can be provided.
How much can I bore out from the 99.5mm bore that the EJ25 SOHC Phase II motor before I have to resleeve it?
I also hear that stroking will be better to increase displacement along with the bore.
I already plan to use custom pistons and rods for this setup, with will probably need a standalone ECU to go along with this setup.
Thanks for any advice. Please don't say go turbo, because that is not what I want.
