Best (and cheapest) non-underdriven pulley
It seems the time has come to go ahead and buy a pulley. I decided i didn't want to get an underdriven one. I want everyone's opinions on what to get. Price is definately a factor. Ban, i saw in a previous thread that you could get one for about $95. what is this one
also, will a new pulley rattle and vibrate like i have read somewhere if properly installed?
thanks
luke

The MrJosh's is about the cheapest you can get new, but if you keep an eye out you can find a used one for $50 or so. They are all more or less the same quality, but I'd stick to full diameter personally. Maybe UD is ok, but I'm not going to find out for myself to gain that last 15% out of the pulley. The weight's what's important.

man...when did you become a mod? i need to come here more..seems like just a couple months ago we were seeing who could ***** faster =P
But yeah, there are a number of lightweight pullies out there that work just fine..brand doesn't matter that much..def dont get underdriven if you value electricity j/p but if you have an aftermarket deck you really shouldn't get a UD one..
but MrJosh's typically go for $95, Perrin's also are pretty cheap..used ones are always nice if you can find some..

I sitll have my stock pulley, more as a function of the size of my wallet than my opinion of them. I am ambivalent now- some swear by them, some swear they suck. I just posted Mike's article so everyone could see both sides.
