bad pulley noises?

bad pulley noises?
i am getting some not so nice noises from my pulleys in the front of the engine i am pretty sure
at around 3500 RPM there is a metalic like scrapping that only happens when i am letting off the gas and it goes through that range, also some random times when its at low rpm...
the other is at idle, and all throughout the rpms really, the alternator pulley, it whines... idk if i need to get a new alternator because of this??
they do not sound good, but i am pretty sure they arent THAT bad because i havnt gotten a CEL yet... i did have one for about a day, but it went off O.o weird.

the belt tensioner pulley tends to make alot of noise with age mine is getting noisy also
I would change that first and look at the condition of your belts, if they are starting to crack or the rubber feels hard then replace them also. see how that works before buying a alternator.
