bad cylinder or what?
Recently I have been having trouble starting my car, its a 93 impreza 1.8L.
I try to start that car and it doesnt start right way. it sounds like its trying to turn over but it doesn't on the first few tries.
then it sounds like it has turned on, but the RPMs are real low and it sounds like its going to stall. i try again and it starts.
the check engine light came on right before all of this has happened.
the first time that it happened I checked the oil and it was VERY low, i filled it up and it started just fine. (may not be part of the problem at all)
my only guess is that its not getting enought fuel at first to turn the engine over.
could it be a bad fuel injector in one of the cylinders? fuel pump/filter? starter?
as i start the car throughout the day the problem seems to go away, it is cold out side, but it wouldnt make the engine light come on.
do i just need some dry gas?
any ideas?
