Recently, there are many magazines in Hong Kong that talks about this "Hyper Voltage System- MR series". It had been tested on many diff. cars and all of them showed a very good increase in HP (dyno'd). So I am just wondering have anyone tried this fairly new product, and I need the feedbacks of it before to make the purchase. Thanks!

I have installed in my modded 2000 2.5RS the hyper grounding system and the LR hyper voltage system. I installed the grounding system first as per instructions and reset the ECU. In my opinion the engine ran smoother, reved quicker and a small gain of H.P. was realized by my butt dyno. Two weeks later I installed the LR Hyper Voltage System. The hardest part to this installation is to find a place to put the small extruded aluminum box. After the attachment of the two cables to the battery, alternating green and red leds started flashing, letting you know the installation is correct. When I first started the car it would stall, I then started the car by adding gas and then reset the ECU and the starting stall never occurred again. The installation of the Hyper Voltage system bettered the grounding kit and took everthing to another level, more torque, smoother, revs up quicker and at night the lights both exterior and interior were bright and crystal clear. I, however; would recommend that anyone thinking of trying this mod, install both systems. It certainly worth the price of admission in my opinion.

Finally, I got the Hyper Voltage System on Oct. 8, and I have already testing the product for two days so far. Now is time for me to give an overall review of this thing! First of all, this thing is very easy to install and I had placed it on the side of the washer fliud container. It is very well made and it gives the engine bay a "cool" look. After I installed this product, the first thing I do notice is that the engine starts up faster so is just feel like I got a new battery. So I took the car out for some thrill rides, I guess everyone would have done the same thing right? haha. Ok, so after a few spirit rides, I found that the car has a much better throttle response (now I suggest everyone should get this, not the pulley if you want better throttle response). And also I did notice that I got more "torque" too! I felt a big difference in torque at the 3000rpm & up range. Now, combining better throttle response & better torque = better cornering! For those who only cares about HP, then I am sorry to say that this might not be a product for you. I felt just a bit increase in HP in the mid-high range, but I am sure that the car is definitely willing to pull harder (can rev up higher too)! And ALL GONE... I mean the hesitations are ALL GONE. So the acceleration for now is much more linear without any lag. *Oh, I have to clarify one thing here, that is this product needs time to adapt the setting of the car inorder to release its full potential so I assume that the HP might increase some more in the future too. Anyways, there is one interesting thing I did found on the second day when I was driving in the afternoon. And that was my car performs the same regardless if the AC is on/off. I am pretty impressed by this function, and now I can enjoy sport driving even when the AC is on! Overall, I am a very happy/satisfy with this "simple concept product". I do want to open this thing and look up whats inside, but there are NO SCREWS! ??? And the only thing that I am dissatisfy is the waiting for this hyper voltage system (waited for 1 month). Hope this review helps!

 

 

Hmmm, With the money saved by doing my own grounding mod plus a little extra this japanese black box seems to provide much improved response..... Hmmmm interesting interesting......

HHmm....you say it FEELS like there is no difference when the AC is engaged....BUT UH....that is pysicaly impossible. You see the AC requires a spot in the serpentine belt system on the car. The power steering, AC and alternator all require a pulley....wich is driven by the belt...wich draws its power from the crank shaft...wich SUCKS out power.......so even though the electrical imput/output of the AC might have improved efficency....the unit itsself STILL requires power(from the engine) to run. But the pully is being turned 100% of the time , whether the AC is drawing charge or not....So I guess this mod REALLY improves electrical current efficency.
