99 2.5RS hesitation at 3500rpm

ok, i am driving a 99 2.5rs 5 speed. the only engine mods are plug wires and plugs, no snorkel, k&n pannel filter, and gasket in the second box.

when i take off the line, it pulls nice up to about 3000 rpm then I can actually feel it lose power and almost sorta sputter through 3500 then it pulls hard again at 4000rpm.

could this be solved with a grounding mod or is it something else? anyone ever had this problem?

Yes. I have and it is "solved" by the grounding mod. We used a bunch of 8 and 4 gauge wires all about the engine bay. To the intake manifold, the tranni, the frame, the block, and so on. Then reset the ecu. Ive been doing tothins simply by pulling the negative battery terminal.

Its worked great so far, ecept you ahe to reset the ecu ever few weeks or so.
