115 for me too (Damn limiter). After intake, exhaust, and proEcm I passed the limiter a little but never topped out. After I had nitrous on I could have gotten a really good speed, but I didn't feel like walking home .

U got's Nitrous?
You got Nitrous? What brand? I bought the Zex kit (older version, not the new one that just came out) and I can't figure out how to hook it up to my car. It's a univbersal kit and I just can't figure out what accellerator wires they are talking about. I did MANY searches and everyone keeps telling my the wire harness looks one way, but mine looks different. If you or anyone can help out please do.

115 mph sounds like drag limited to me, not programming limited. My RS makes about 30 more horsepower than a 2.2 and tops out at about 127-128. Same drag for both cars.

I have a 99OBS 2.2L with a MAF. I'm not going to install it yet because it's cold up here in North Dakota, but I might after the weather gets a bit better. As for the limiter, I can get to 115 then my car levels off and I just don't have the umph to go any faster. I've hit the limiter in like 1st through 4th but in fifth my rpm's top out around 5k and it just wont go any faster. I have a ACT street clutch but the stock flywheel so it could be slipping at that piont but I got a ZEX clutchand flywheel I'm having installed in the spring, so I'll see what heppens then.

I believe your car would do 120+, but probably not 132. My 99 impreza cuts off at 112 although sometimes the speedometer looks more like its around 115 (its still 112). At high speeds, speedometers are often inaccurate to several miles per hour. Also, did you ever drive past one of those light up signs on the side of the highway that tell you how fast you're going and almost always they are wrong.??

Speed limit
My car:
1997 2.2ltr Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Wagon (Autotranny/AWD)
When testing my top end when the car was new (I bought it in late 1996), it was speed limited to 108mph. I believe I had a axle back Remus exhaust and a Turn3 intake on it.
After installation of a Minnan Stage I turbokit, Unorthodox pulley, 2.25" exhaust and 1999 2.5ltr Legacy ECU, the 108mph speed limiter was removed. I never found my top end as the mph was pegged when I tested it out with these mods. I forgot....I was spraying at the time as well (NOS nitrous kit #5122, 60 shot). It pegged while racing a newer Honda Prelude from about 65mph+ (long while back). Again, it was the Legacy ECU that removed the 108mph speed limiter of my stock ECU. My stock ECU may be different than yours as there are at least 2 different types of 1997 2.2ltr ECUs. Mine is the least 'powerful' if you want to call it that. It runs richer than the 'other' 1997 ECU. The Legacy ECU runs the leanest of the 3 and makes slightly more hp/torque throughout the entire powerband (2-3hp).
No need for the 'speed kills' or 'say no to street racing' flag waving. I do not condone street racing.
