anyone know what to do about this or what it could be? i did the self diagnoses evap sys. check by conecting the 2 wires under the dash. herd the solinoid click in the rear, purge, but not sure were the pressure solinoid is? but i hear all kinds of clicking in the engine bay while in this mode. what could it be if it is not any of these solinoids? gas cap is on tight.

You're hearing dang near every solenoid and relay in the car working at once, and it seems loud becuase the engine is off. Just crawl under the right rear side of your car and look for loose hoses and wires and stuff. Half a chance it's something that simple.

 

my friend has a 01' and he has been having this problem, I told him to check his gas cap and it's fine. He took it to a dealer and they replaced some sensors or solenoids but that hasn't worked. He just put on and intake and exhaust and it went away for about 2 weeks and just recently came back on. Unfortunatly we think they guy who owned the car before him had it turbocharged. We got a service history from subaru and he had an engine rebuild and a tranny rebuild. The dude also has a stage 3 clutch. Oh yeah, the car only has 24k miles on it so I think the dude did something really bad. lol

I though that too, but that goes away when you tighten it and cycle the ignition.
