I really wouldn't worry about the AP until you have a tb exhaust, unless you already have one, then yes on teh AP. But with that 4-600 depending on new used v1 v2, you can do a little more suspension, maybe some better brake pads...
What kind of pads do you recomend? Hawk?
Later this year or early next im also planning on getting some Rotas for the summer and useing my stockers for tahoe when i visit my parents.

As far as suspension, I use mostly whiteline.
As far as brakes, hawk is great, so is porterfield. My girlfriend uses porterfield on her 05 sti, stops on a freakin dime!
and I freakin love rotas, you can buy like 3 pairs of rotas for the same price as the "real" version of the rim, and in some instances rotas are stronger!
haha

i would get that. just a stage 1 will add a good amount of power and torque. then some springs, sway bars, shifter rack bushings, steering rack bushings, and short shifter. that will make the car handle nice and make the shifting a little better
Thanks for the input guys.
As far as exhaust goes, im kind of confused/stuck. I want a deeper growl but i dont want it too loud. My stock exhaust is silent. Any tips on this? Ive looked at the STI exhaust, but im not sure it will fit. I think i want to stick with CB and not TB.

I've got SPT intake/Borla Hush/Cobb AP Stage 1 and "badabababaaaa I'm luvin it".
Dont think strut bar is necessary; if you can jack the car up at the front location, and the back wheel is coming off the ground before you're halfway thru the jack travel....thats a stiff chassis out the box.
I think my 'Stage 2' will focus more on suspension : rear sway, endlinks, & springs. Still undecided on specific wheels in tires but feeling the 18x8 look.

I had a Cobb catted tbe on my 2004 STi,and adding an SPT intake/shield provided very noticeable improvements in power, driveability, and gas mileage. But others have had no results or negative results, and posting my experience on Subaru sites usually leads to great controversy, accusations of an overactive imagination, etc. "Your results may vary".
