As per NGK techs and other sources, you should Never close a gap more than .008 or so. SO with the "11's" you are closing the gap over .015!! About Double the maximum recommended. This can cause irregular spark, causing poor/unreliable performance, fouling, slight misfires, etc.
The NGK copper plug you should use is BKR7E (6097), ... which comes gapped to ~.030~.032".
Don't take my word for it though, you may call the NGK tech line @ 1-877-473-6767.
