What is the motor and trans worth from and STI

A friend of mine totaled her STI last week and is going to junk it. How much do you think the motor and trans are worth?

i would say somewhere between 8-10 k with the rearend and brakes.

I saw the car and the entire car is totaled. She rolled the car and the bottom hit a tree and cracked the transmission case and cracked the block. I guess the air bags saved her life. Well I guess no STI powertrain for me.

Suprisingly she just had some scratches and bruises. Sorry no pics of the car, I didn't have my camera and now it's junked.

She was cutting a corner on a country road when another car was coming the other way so she swerved back to her lane but went to far and dropped of the road into the gravel and starting spining and thats when the flipping started
