EJ25T dropped into a MY00 2.5RS?
I did a quick search of the forums to read about this swap, but didnt see anything. Does anyone have any good links or experience they could lend me? I just need to know about the hookups, engine mounts, wiring harness and other things like that. I am not worried about how hard it is to do it, i just need to know what needs to be done to get it to work. I came across a cheap EJ25T that would be cheaper than buying a kit and i have the talent available to swap it.. just need a few questions answered. Thanks.

The block bolts right in except for a little filing or grinding to make room for some condensor hoses, but if you want to swap the whole thing it will be a much bigger issue.
Another guy around here did the short block swap and said it was relatively painless. He used the SOHC heads and stock wiring harness which is probably the best way to go. You could just build a turbo setup and buy a stand-alone ECM, then just cross your fingers untill the tranny blows up.
