i am getting ready to do my turbo set up and iam doing a majority of the install myself. i have a decent amount of experience in installing, but i have never really dealt with a external wastegate. so my question.... i have a FP green which comes with a internal waastegate. how do i get rid of it? i i just weld a piece of metal over the wastegate, do i take it out? what do i have to do to install the external wastegate? thnx in advanced.

 

you can either weld the wastegate flapper shut or fabricate a bracket to keep the wastegate flapper closed. you would need an up pipe and dump tube for the ewg as well. i'd reccomend the element tuning up pipe kit which would work perfectly with the tial 38mm ewg youre getting from me

 

Perfect advice. I would really go with a bolt in solution like what he said rather than trying to rig something up custom
