like I said, not trying to flame, if 290 is all we can get out of a green on 91 octane than its not yours/vishnus/anyones fault, though I think you would do best to consider a bigger intercooler or even water injection or else your just not using the turbo to its full potential on pump gas, just a thought
Good idea...

The talk of a bigger intercooler did come up, maybe that will the stage 3??

Shiv said he would of been able to pull a few extra out on the street map...
I was lookin more @ the race map #'s...since i wanna hit some good 1/4 times.
If u brought the car back on a cooler day, i think it would pull a stronger....?

#'s can't say much about how Faster the car is....before i used to hate hittin the upper RPMs, now it feels like the torque of my old STI, along with the kick in the *** top end of dare i say "EVO"... just on steriods.

Faster.......The car already ran 12.5 in 80 degree temps.
Since it has picked up 70hp, and 100hp+ from 6000-7000 rpm on the race map.
Reduced the weight 100#'s
Improved the suspension.

118, but since i still had some 91 in there when we mixed it, on the dyno it was more like 112-114 octane.

u cant run faster than a 11.99 without a roll cage, but i would still run it, and if you dont get a good launch, id just brake at the end and when u do get a good launch, keep going and just get kicked out, as long as you get you good time.

Are you saying your car will kick Shiv's tuned EVO? hehehe His tuned EVO on race gas pumps out more hp than that..

No, i just know many people that own EVOs, including my older brother who has a kick *** EVO that was moded by Vishnu, and has run LOW 12's, and will hit 11's soon...
I just think now that stage two kits are out, this will bring the whole EVOvsSTI thing up a notch....which is good.

No it wouldn't. The boost response and torque curve of the STi Stg 2 is pretty unreal. It's a good 100hp stronger in the midrange that your proto Stg 3 WRX. And between shifts, there is absolutely no wait for boost to hit. It will scrable all tires in the 1-2 shift and chirp again shifting into 3rd. Something EVOs need another 100whp to do

Mark's car was running 110mph trap speeds with his Stg 1 car (which put down around 280whp on race gas). With the 340+whp his car is putting down now, it should see 116-117mph if conditions are good. On 91oct pump gas, he shouldn't have a problem reaching 111-113mph traps. If there are other quicker STis in the bay area, i'd love to see them
