USDM vs European STi 2006 what is the same and whats not

I know theat the ECU is diferent

And the bodywork is not all the same , lights end interior

what about the engine and gerbox and all

I own a Euro STi 2006 ... but i might be planing on inporting a USDM STi

someone told me theat the Euro STi engine is stronger ??

Assuming your car is left hand drive, NOT the UK version, then I am pretty sure that they are mechanically the same exact car. This is good, should be cheaper to import, less things to bring up to US standards. Try searching www.iwsti.com, I seem to recall seeing thread like this over there
