So, will a USDM STi TMIC fit on MY07 WRX? I've read that since the 06-07 WRX TMIC's are wider it bolts right up. Please let me know what you know that is fact, not guess

The only problem is that you will need to replace some of the Y-pipe hoses.
Check NASIOC for STi Intercooler. They have a good write up on the process.
Did this on a friends 06 a while back. Can't remember what size hoses were needed. I believe weended up triming some new hoses to fit.

It will fit. Only thing is the Elbow connecting to the turbo as stated above.

 

so the wrx splitter will be the same as the sti splitter for my07?

 

No, the WRX air splitter/diverter is smaller. I get the full benefits of the STI TMIC you should buy an STI air diverter.

You can order them from Subaru for I think around $85. I have for FS btw!

 

what is a sti air diverter? because i have the sti top mount on my 07 wrx.

 

Open your hood and it's that metal piece that is mounted up under your hood scoop. Has the rubber shroud around it. It basically curves down the air that enters the hood scoop so it'll hit the top mount properly.

 

The ZeroSports Air Splitter for the 02 STi Hoodscoop FITS PERFECTLY with on the 06-07, FYI.

 

Don't the aftermarket ones cost considerably more than stock?

 

depends if you get used or not. I was throwing that out there as an option incase he runs across one.
