Twinscroll header for BW s366
Here are some pics from what I got done today and last night. This is the pass side runners. Just need to bring the driver side runners over and figure out the convergence angle and make the collectors.

Thanks, here are the pieces installed. I decided to install it and then do the collectors that way i can eliminate any kind of play or misalignment. And in doing so I wont be including any lame flex bellows or slip joints or any other kind of "bandaid" that might fail or cause problems. Also wanted to make sure my little jig with the clearences for the oil pan and oil filter worked and the header wasnt touching or really close to anything.

Damn that looks like some process piping, even pre beveled with a nickel land like your gonna do a 100% pipe weld. I assume thats not gonna be the case right? I don't see any gap. What kind of metal, 304?

yes there will be full penetration hence the reason I beveled everything and i will be back purging to ensure strong/clean weld. Yes its 304.
I didnt leave a gap because its beveled, the thickness at the bevel is around .05 or so, so getting full penetration shouldnt be much of an issue.

Here is my first collector. The jig worked very well, on the first piece i had to play around with the clamping and in doing so i had to adjust the tube a couple times and so the cut didnt end up perfectly straight like the other. But hey, I think i came out pretty good for the first one. So on the second one there shouldnt be that tiny slice of gap between the 2, which is negligable since it will be welded any how. But anyways on to the pics.

Heres the second collector. root pass ran about 130 amps then backed it off to 120 amps for the second pass. ran a faster pulse and not as spaced. This was pulsed with my foot and not the machine.
