The '06 STI's are supposed to come with these... however I wasn't able to find them while snooping around underneath my car... anyone know what they look like or what kind of cooler these are? (ie. radiator type)

Also wondering if there's an oil cooler, would be nice to add one!

 

Only JDM cars have the oil and tranny coolers... sucks I know. I had a custom fabed oil-cooler put on. I don't remember the name of the company which produced the core... I will take a look and get back to you. I don't think any STi's (even JDM) have diff coolers... I could be wrong. I am putting 360 whp to the ground... my oil temp jumped up to 225 F after I went from a stage II to a Stage IV. After the oil cooler it hovers around 200 F driving hard.

If i recall correctly, i think the USDM STI's are supposed to come with a diff cooler! But I didn't see anything underneath my car!
I won't be modding my car with any engine stuff, but I will be tracking my car, so just to have a peace of mind i think i'll put on an oil cooler. Where did you mount yours by the way? In front of the radiator?

 

Yep, there are two openings on the sti front grill... the large mouth (totaly taken up by my FMIC) and the small mounth for the radiator. I mounted the oil cooler in front of the radiator on the right hand side of the small mouth... sorry about the "mouth" description.
