Tomei vs Killer B EL headers
I'm in the market for a set of EL headers and I have narrowed my choices to the Tomei Expreme EL header and the Killer B Holy Header.
Anyone have any experiences/opinions about the above mentioned?
Thanks in advance.

Both are great headers that willl give you good gains. Killer b are practically indistructable havent heard of tomei cracking either, killer b has that lifetime warrenty. If your on a budget id go with tomei id you got the cash $$$ get some killer b headers. Or even full-race ones

I think that there is a group buy going on through Boston Motorsports for the KillerB headers, they also are very active on Nasioc so I am guessing customer service is probably good too

I bought Tomei Expreme UEL Headers w up-pipe and they look fantastic, welds were perfectly beaded almost too good looking to install. Anyways I have had mine on the Sti for 8K miles now and they still look great no leaks or cracks. I know they are not EL but same company and similar component. No fitiment issues whatsoever.
just my 2 cents, overall very happy I bought them.

I appreciate everyone's input on this topic. It looks like I may go with Killer B. I have heard (not just from this thread) that Tomei has had cracking issues before. But I suspect that may be on a case by case issue. Tomei is a great company with awesome products and I will leave it at that.
I will continue looking into the Killer B setup as they are made of 321 SS and thus have a higher content of titanium which will resist heat a bit more than 304 SS.
Thanks again everyone!

Tomei ELs are basically like any of the other "3 bolt uppipe" ELs that I will call "3 bolt" headers. EQ tuning thinks well enough of the product that they have an EQ branded version of the same thing.
For the street it's probably adequate. Going to something like the FR or KillerB is for cars that will see enough high performance driving that the higher end materials are worth the cost.
The 3 bolt ELs may last 3-5 years of street driving and and they're inexpensive enough to replace when / if they crack. The KillerB or FR headers will last forever but the initial cost is more than 2 or 3 of the "3 bolt" headers.
IMO it's not worth pursuing the expensive headers for performance gains, as that's pretty minimal. It basically comes down to if you're tracking the car and seeing a high % of the time at high EGTs, then the 3 bolts will crack often enough that it's probably worthwhile to shell out for the expensive brands with better materials. If you're street driving, then go for the "3 bolt" headers.
