Thermo Protection
I have found alot of product and can't seem to make up my mind on what to buy. Mainly becuse I don't want to regret buying something when there is something better out there.
Where is the best location to search for heat wrap, sheilds, and where can I find the thermal wrap thas looks like NASA spec wrap that is gold in color?

I am having GrimmSpeed coat all of my intake and exhaust setups on the rally car. I am going to wrap it after that as well.
I was shocked how much horsepower I lost with every 10 degrees of heat in the intake air. They make spacers to get the intake manifold off the engine block as well.
Check their stuff out http://www.grimmspeed.com

Enjuku Racing carries the gold stuff you are looking for. This is the super high end self adhesive gold reflective material. Beware there are to kinds that look the same but have different temperature ranges. The one enjuku sells is the higher temp, more expensive variety. I used it on the end tanks and under pipes for the intercooler as well as the inside of the turbo heat shield. Racers also cover the airbox in it.
