So I just moved to Cali from Hawaii and since getting here my car is not reaching its target boost. Target boost is 18.5 and EWG has 14.5 spring. My car is only getting about 13psi and EWG is not fully opening. On rare occasions in 4th my car will jump from 13 to 18.5 at around 6k RPM. My wideband afr is reading anywhere from 10.1 to 10.7 so I don't believe its a boost leak. Could it be the difference between hawaii 91 and Cali 91 gas? Or possibly a ebcs failure? I plan on getting a protune within the month to accommodate for the ****ty fuel, just wondering if there is anything mechanical I should check before my protune. Any advice is appreciated, Thanks.

Could be change in elevation too, lots of variables. There's a few good shops in the area, LIC, Snail, EQ, or whoever you have in mind as is for the tune, any could do you fine so far as diagnosis and tune. Good luck.

Thanks man. The elevation is basically the same, but maybe humidity? I don't know know. Hopefully the tune will settle the issue.

Humidity + higher average temp moving to less humidity with lower average probably evens out. Maybe something got unsettled during shipping. Tune/tune up ought iron it out either way.
