Hey guys, i have heard some things that the 2006 STi come with oil cooler, so you dont have to get a turbo timer, is that right ? If so does any of you STi drivers out there have a turbo timer on yours ? If so why do you install it ? The reason why is im trying to justify the reason to spend $120 to install a new Greddy F.A.T.T on my STi. TIA

You really won't need the TT for it's main purpose of allowing the oil to cool.
However, the TT usually has other functions that can be used (lap timer, temp gauge, Volt meter, some have the ability to be used as o2 and knock sensors)
I have a Blitz TT in my WRX and use it primarily for the auxilliary functions.
It's not a necessary mod...kinda in the same bracket as an aftermarket Blow Off Valve on a stock car.
