My sti is acting up. Please help!

Alright where do I start. First of all I did several searches and they weren't like my problem. My car is not just smoking a little bit, its smokes alot. I recently put on the Syms header and upipe. I also have the UTEC, tbe, and blitz sus intake. At idle white smoke floods out and a little bit of oil shoots out. Then as i calmly go down the street and smoke still poors out. But after 10minutes it goes away but when i idle for awhile it comes right back, and if i reset my ecu, it also goes away for about an hour, then comes back. When i first put my headers on it wasn't doing this and that was about 5 days ago, i was just shooting 5ft flames out my @$$, when i wasn't even at WOT. I checked all my hoses and everything look okay. I changed my oil today and it still does it. I checked my overflow coolant resavior and it was fine, i checked to see if any bubble would come from the radiator fill tank when i started it, and nothing. I'm not getting any power loss either. Could I have broken a seal on the turbo from the header install? Would that make me spit oil out of the exhaust? Please help this is my baby and my daily driver. Thanks

Alright, this just happened to me, I went to my car this morning and looked under my car and their was a pool of oil, under where the catback and the downpipe meet, only there, no where else. Then I pretty sure my turbo was making ssome metal rubbing on metal noises. I tried to drive it, OMG, smoke was trailing behind me for a 1/2 mile before I turned around and went back home. Got out of my car and there was a lot of oil all over by rear bumper and trunk which was from the exhaust. This is what I think happened, let me know what you think. I think my car was parked on an incline, so somehow oil form the turbo leaked down my downpipe and leaked out inbetween the catback and dp. Does this sound like a bad turbo?

did u disconnect the turbo oil line when u did the install of the uppipe and headers? If not, you probably have a serious problem. Considering oil should not be comming out of your car anywhere. I haven't experienced this problem before. I would suggest not driving it until the problem is solved, or you take if somewhere or have someone who know thier stuff look at it.

Last time I check, blowing fireballs out of your exhaust is also not really good for your car. Although it is pretty freakin cool lookin.

When I had symptoms like this on my sti and than I heard metal on metal I also thought is was my turbo well to make a long story short I took off the turbo and it was fine did a compression test and the motor ended up coming out.
Wow, I didn't want too hear that. lol. So what was wrong with yours? Going to take another look at it a a few minutes. I keep you updated.
