I have SPT. it works fine

i really dont wanna go out and measure but from what i remember it is just a tiny bit bigger than the stock. the hose coupler that connects the 2 is just a tiny bit bigger and the intake side than the other.

I hope you have a turbo heat sheild like the SPT turbo heat
sheild or your CAI will be sucking in hot air instead of cold.
Have you looked at the Cobb Tuning intakes?

Can you remember off the top of your head what the
A/F ratio was?
Did you actually notest a difference in performance?
Better throttle response or anything?

I think it was 14.5-14.6:1 somewhere in there and as far as performance i did notice quicker spool up, well a little less spool lag anyway.

there is alot of wooshing and swooshing though. saved money on a BOV. sometimes you can hear outside the car but the sound is mostly for my enjoyment. it was distracting at first but nowadays i dont even hear it unless someone points it out.

i did combo it with a SPT exhaust and i noticed smoother spool up easier shifting and smoother accel. people will go one way or the other one short ram. the have a thread called THE GREAT INTAKE DEBATE or something . From personally having it i like it and i recommend to anyone. Especially if you worried about staying on dealership warranty.

and if that didnt answer your question Just for kicks after driving it for a bit with the SPT parts i thorugh the stock intake on with and without the stock exhaust and noticed more lag and less fluid accel with the stockers stuff on. i hope this helps

That definitely answers my question thanks Irish.
The SPT intake is the only intake I have seen that holds a
decent A/F ratio without tuning.
I have a warranty with Subaru and I will considering getting one
I appreciate your insight.
