Smoke coming from turbo? Help

Smoke coming from turbo? Help

When i got home from work i notice smoke coming out of thr turbo it was to dark for me to tell what colo smoke it was. Anybody have any suggests what could it be blown turbo?

it could possibly be the banjo bolt of the turbo letting oil out which is then burning from the heat of the turbo causing it to smoke, just a suggestion to look at

Ill take a look ifmits the banjo bolt. i checked this morning i saw that my coolant and oil level went down?

^^^ check that. and i wouldnt think the turbo would be smoking. thats odd. even with a blown turbo it doesnt typically smoke from the turbo. are you smoking out the exhaust? typically its the seal around the turbine shaft that starts leaking oil and then it gets evaquated through the exhaust. if your actuall turbo is smoking you probably just got something on it or one of the clamps could possible be loose. check the turbo exhaust manifold. maybe a bad gasket. or could be the v-band clamp although i doubt it.

it's not a turbo
Most likely your valve cover is leaking and dripping on hot uppipe causing smoking
