Should i buy (a Cobb exhaust at a good price)?

Hey guys i was thinking about putting an exhaust on my wrx. A friend of a friend is selling his Cobb turbo-back for $500. Is that a quality exhaust? Will i gain any power with it? Is that a resonable price?

thats an awsome price! Great company, a little power. To maximize the performance, you would need to tune your car. For example Cobb Access port for stage 2 with that turboback exhaust. Im running catless turboback exhaust with XPT stage 2 (tactrix cable) and it only cost me 130-140 total. Good luck and i hope i see you around sac!

If you can afford it do it. There are lower priced exhausts floating around here though if u are on a budget.

Vietpunk are you going to Mt. Hammy?

If it is a turboback then yes you will definitely gain power, if it was just the axleback then no you wouldn't really.

That turboback plus a flash with Cobb's Accesport will show you amazing gains.

Thats a pretty good price on the Cobb. You might also want to check out Tanabe, they have some really nice exhaust systems.

if its really a full TBE.. thats a VERY generous price. If anything, purchase the full TBE and sell the DP for some other mods if you don't have the time and money to get an EM.
