I have an '06 with the AEM SRS also. I thought about going back to stock so much, that I did. For about 2 hours. The AEM might actually lose you 1 or 2HP, but the imporant thing that I notice from it, is a much smoother torque curve, especially going through 1st and 2nd gears. The AEM feels much better to me, but if I was you, I would do what I did and slap my stock one back on for a couple hours at least and see what I think.

Good luck in your decision.
