My 06" WRX wagon is barely a month old. It's a great car, but the exhaust sound quality is not quite there.. My last ride was a 97' integra GS-R with 2K worth of exhaust mods, so I am used to hearing my motor sing. I need help finding a quality Stainless Steel cat-back that sounds good, but is as quiet as possible. I don't want to have to talk over it. Anyone have experience with the SPT system you can get from the dealer? Any and all help would be appreciated.

 

Borla Hush should be what you are looking for. They are very good on power gains while still being liveable noise wise. They have a look that appears stock (although larger) and will not draw attention.

Build quality is A+ on them as well.

 

I have the Prodrive single-tip. It is very quiet but has a nice rumbly exhaust note.

 

I've read that the RSR ExMag and the Greddy Evo2 are supposed to be kinda quiet too.
