planning to do a 20g set up

well im planning on a 20g set up for my wrx. i got a 2006.

im trying to decide for the best TMIC. should i go with a helix of perrin TMIC? also was currious if an STi TMIC would work with this setup.

im going to be running the walbro fuel pump and stock injector. yeah, stock injectors. ill upgrade later but for now the the 565 top feed blue wrx injectors should be fine.

anything im missing? i have spt intake, helix dp with high flow cat and ecs, borola hush catback.

im also interested in getting some type of intercooler spray system, not sure yet cause of cost. ill probally just get a hood scoop air splitter instead.

anyone have any advice as to what else i should add incase im missing something

thanks

I have seen people run the 20g on a STi top mount but it's obviouly a little restrictive. If you go that route you may want to look into methane injection but you might as well get a after market top mount since it will be only like $200 more. APS top mounts are the shiznit by the way and are $695. You really need to upgrade your injectors if you want that 20g to do what it's intended to do, you should get Power Enterprise 850cc injectors too.

I have no idea what 1sic is talking about. Methane injection WTF??? APS the shiznit??? STi TMIC too restrictive where the hell do you get this crap?

Here's the deal, Then STI TMIC will work, as with any TMIC you are going to get heat soak. For a real upgrade with a 20g turbo consider a FMIC. Injectors are a must, you are almost doubling the cmf by switching to a 20g. I have a 20g with a TMIC. I had the JDM STi TMIC, I sold it and installed an SSautochrome(ebay) TMIC. See an intercooler isn't a complex component. To say one core is better than another is hog wash.

Whoa, sorry man, didn't mean to offend you. I was just telling him what I have seen on other cars. I told him he can use the stock top mount but I have heard that it's a good idea to run a bigger TMIC or a FMIC, especially on a 20g. So by what your saying is that NO TMIC is better than another? And I understand that every TMIC will get heat soak. I thought I gave him some good advice, most people upgrade TMIC after a larger turbo install, especially WRX's. I also told him he should get bigger injectors due to the application. I told him to buy an APS TMIC because it's a reasonable price for a good product manufactured by a quality company, jeez. I've also talked with a couple guys from Gruppe-S and they suggested that I get methane injection if I was to run my stock STi top mount with a 20g turbo, becuase, as you know I am considering upgrading my turbo on my STi as well. Sorry if I mislead anyone.
