im new to the suby game and just want to know why the motor pings so much after i turn off my car...i know its probably not a big deal but it just doesnt sound right to me....

Heatshields most likely. We have them on everthing almost, from the tarby to the headers to the downpipe. It's the sound of them cooling down. They kind of pop and ping.
