I also have the Perrin FMIC. Make sure that you have an inch of silicone on the pipes minimum. The rest is available for adjustment. Basically, you just want to give enough space to get a solid seal. Yes the Tbolt claps will help a ton. You can get them super tight and they look great. I have them on mine.
Hope that helps

The sillycone hoses are one of a few complaints I have with the Perrin.
1. Either make the hoses 3/4" longer or make the aluminium tubing longer.
2. A lot of thought went into the kit; a little more should have been spent to get the kit 100% perfect.

I looked under the hood today and found that most of the hoses overlap by about 1.5 inches and the T-fitting are crucial... spend the 70 bucks to get them and do it right... they look great too.

It's not on their website but give them a call and they can hook you up.
You want about 1/2" gap between metal tubes. It is recommended that you use 3" couplers. Some kits will come with 2" couplers to make the kit more profitable. But especially on high boost applications 3" couplers is the way to go. T-bolt clamp is the best clamp for silicone hose applications. Regular hose clamps can degenerate the the hose by squeezing the rubber through the slits on the clamps.
