Question overfill motor oil (06 wrx)

wassup guys,

Im trying to find out wats causing the exhaust to blow out white smoke wen i start the car. i just had a car turbo swap last week, wen i got it out of the shop there was no white smoke when i drove it..one day i check the oil and thought it was low and fill it up almost a quart. SO my question is can overfilled motor cause the exhuast to blow white smoke? smell like burning oil too!

My current mods:
fp18g
Sti top mount
Stock injectors

hopefully i dont have a blown turbo seals or something. any suggestion guys?

I don't think white smoke indicate overfill oil, but you might want to check your oil again to make sure you are not overfilling. Overfilling might cause some seals to blow because of too much oil pressure. I'm assuming it is coolant that gets into the exhaust housing or some kind. Don't quote me, I might not know ****, but just an advise, haha.

Burning oil does not generate white smoke, it makes blue-gray smoke. White smoke is coolant.

Sounds like a head gasket has blown slightly.
