Oil catch can set up for 2006 wrx STI

This is the system I installed on my 2006 WRX STI. I have had it on for about 5,000 miles and it seems to work very well. I have not measured how much oil it has caught but there is definitely oily residue inside the cans. I have two of them. One is mounted off of the PVC Valve and the other is coming off of the valve cover breathers. I have fabricated over 30 of these lines for guys around town, they are all very happy with them. I used alluminum tubing and covered them with norprene tubing so it would look stock. It works with most catch cans out there but i am running two Perrin Catch Cans. I really wanted a system that looked factory and I couldn't find them anywhere so i spent a couple of months fiddling with different set ups.....i finally came up with this!

I'd run one personally.. if I had a turbocharged car that is.
Yes, it is well worth it.This is the first thing I did on my 04 WRX.

Here's an updated version of the dual oil catch can plumbing kit. Two cans mounted on the passenger side strut tower.

Funny, I just installed my Perrin can on the strut tower there. I only have one, but I have it installed exactly like that. I have it connected to the front manifold vent pipe. I kinda think the manifold port should be plugged, and the can be connected to the intake before the turbo to suck the gases out of the engine. If it is connected to the manifold, the turbo will pressurize the crankcase...not so good.
