Not a big problem i just need some input

Hello Subies owner..
i just bought an exhaust (hks) and i love the sound lol
but i notice that my idle is not the same. when i had my oem exhaust the idle was 800 i think and now that i have the hks exhaust its on 600 or 500.
pls enlighten me subies guru about this issue thanks

Do you have a down pipe????

Did you tune for it?????

I dont think just a cat back will affect the idle but you are running less backpressure so this may be the casue.

No tune no down pipe..is their anything I could do for putting the idle up? Just wondering

Exhaust parts won't change the idle unless something else got messed up. 700RPM is the normal stock idle for your car.

really... never done to it yet except for that exhaust.
well when i bought her, she came with an aftermarket air filter(cone style)
and a turbo timer.
