Car Info: 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

New turbo and PSI questions

I own a new 2007 STi and I was wondering is it true that the 07 STi uses a new turbo? If so, what kind of turbo is it and is it better than the 06 turbo? My last question is what is the PSI on a stock 07 STi?

Car Info: 02 PSM WRX

It has an IHI VF43. According to what I've read it's pretty much the same as the 39 but it has a larger internal wastegate so it will run a lower target boost.

it will still have the same target boost but will be able to control it much better especially after you go catless (less chance of boost creep)
