from the new perrin dp.

the hush sounded great on stage 1 but man, it's killing me right now on stage 2.

i'm thinking about putting the stock exhaust on it's so loud.

what do you guys think?

you could try a aftermarket catted dp, and see how you like it, my 0.02 cents.

Are you in an STI? The vf39 turbo's need to port the wastegate to function optimally with a catless setup. I run a titek high flow catted downpipe with a vf34 and make over 270 to the wheels, which is pretty good for catted. The titeks are cheap, and built VERY well.

I meant to say also with a catted downpipe, a lot of people hit that fuel cut issue a lot less often.

^^ actually swapping downpipes with someone, helix catted.

after i get it all sorted out, whether i hit fuel cut or not, i will probably get tuned by paul at dbtuned. hopefully a tune will fix it all and i won't need to port my wastegate.

i just can't wait to be able to enjoy stage 2 like everyone else...

for the past 3 weeks or so i've been laying off the pedal so i don't hit it, haha. much better gas mileage!

i startd with the downpipe first then I got the hush.

at first the dp with the stock exhaust was slightly louder.. but not that iihave both with a vf34.. It's still bearable for me.

catless just seems incredibly loud to me, lol.

i'd like all the benefits of going catless without the bad parts.

i don't know what it is but the catted helix and hush is still too loud for my liking. i'm thinking the helix with my stocker should be just about right.
