New 06 STi, few questions

Whats up guys, I just picked up an 06 STi black mainly to take up to tahoe in the winter time and I was wondering if you guys could help me with a few things.

I'm going to be driving in alot of snow and ice to get to the cabin and to the resorts so I'm going to need Snow/Ice tires. Can I go down to a 16 inch rim? There must be a way the rally guys are running 15/16 inch rims and still clearing the BBK Calipers. If its possible, I want to run 235/60/16 or wider if possible.

Anyone have experience with Michelin Ice-X tires?

Also I've seen a couple of 2.5 Rs's up in tahoe with push guards or bumper guards (what ever you call them). You know, the big metal grills people put on trucks.. Where can I get one if they even make them for an 06 STi?

I know most of you would flame for that though but I've hit a few ice banks on black ice and I don't want to mess up the front end.

Also are these cars prewired for fog lights? I need some staduim lights on this thing.

Thanks in advanced!

For tires, go with Blizzak LM-25's, I was able to do this @ Boca:

They do awesome on ice also, example, last year a we got sleet then snow, they closed our intersection but I made it up like it was dry. Just keep the stock size.

Congrats BTW!!
